Animal Rights and Protection

Animal Activism Queensland is a grassroots network of activists dedicated to the exposure of practices that cause cruelty to animals.

The mission of the American Humane Association, as a network of individuals and organizations, is to prevent cruelty, abuse, neglect and exploitation of children and animals and to assure that their interests and well-being are fully, effectively, and humanely guaranteed by an aware and caring society.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals exists to promote humane principles, prevent cruelty, and alleviate fear, pain, and suffering in animals.

The Animal Legal Defense Fund was born of a bold and singular vision: that the lives and interests of animals - in research labs, on farms, in the wild and in our own communities - would one day be recognized and protected by law.

Animal Place is a nonprofit sanctuary for abused and discarded farm animals founded in 1989. Rescued individuals and indigenous wildlife share 60 acres of forest, meadow, pasture, hills and small lake.

The Animal Protection Institute (API) is a national animal advocacy nonprofit organization, contributions to which are tax-deductible. Founded in 1968, API's mission is to advocate for the protection of animals from cruelty and exploitation.

Each year millions of Animals are killed, strangled, beaten, buried alive, shot at from airplanes, tortured and suffer many more horrible deaths by humans. Please help us to stop this abuse on Animals.

We are a number of individual cat and dog rescue workers. Being based in Lebanon, we are working in almost impossible conditions: the presence of countless homeless cats and dogs, the lack of an animal shelter or animal rights organization, lack of funding, and governmental and public indifference.

The BCTF, founded in 1999, is a consortium of conservation organizations and scientists dedicated to the conservation of wildlife populations threatened by commercial hunting of wildlife for sale as meat.

Founded in 1995, COK believes in granting basic rights to sentient nonhuman animals and, therefore, in ending institutionalized animal exploitation. COK's main function lies in organizing public demonstrations, conducting investigations, educating consumers, and actively working to promote nonviolence toward all sentient beings.
